About me
I was born in 2001 in Lund, Sweden, and am a bass-baritone and composer. My musical journey began at the age of six when I joined the choir of Lund Cathedral. My passion for music deepened in 2013, when I sang my first operatic role as "Erste Knabe" in Malmö Opera’s production of Die Zauberflöte. Shortly after, I performed the title role in the Swedish opera Kung Mattias, composed by Viggo Edén.
Since then, I have continued to perform in various operatic roles, including Bartolo in Le Nozze di Figaro (2023) in Maastricht, Nick Carraway in Marc Vogler’s Gatsby in Cologne, and the King in Xavier Montsalvatge’s Der Gestiefelte Kater at the Theater Aachen.
My training includes two intensive years of Lied studies at Vadstena Sång & Pianoakademi, where I graduated in 2022. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln (HFMT), studying under bass-baritone Raimund Nolte. I have participated in masterclasses with renowned opera singer Anne Sofie von Otter and privately with Kammersänger Reinhard Hagen.
I have been honored with several scholarships and awards, including:
Lions Club Scholarship (2021)
Torsten Tegstams Scholarship (2022)
Brigitte Kempen Competition (2023)
Rotary Club Aachen Scholarship (2024)
As a composer, I focus on late-romantic and neo-classical styles. My opera Vita Bron premiered in August 2024 and was met with critical acclaim, earning me recognition as the fourth most influential classical musician in Sweden that year, as highlighted in OPUS.
